No this track is not there... but it's a very good album (short - 9 tracks but no track there only to complete an album without originality )

You'll be able to hear the influence of Prince in it but not only...

Kip has the brilliant voice we all know as Prince's Fan (He was on The Rainbow Children) but he also composed all the musics here...



The Tracks on it are :

- "As I Falls" : A king of Slow were you can appreciate Kip's voice capacity.
- "Touchin' and Agreein'" : More R'n'B/Urban again the joy come from the rhythm and the wait he sings.
- "Flying" is a beautiful accoustic Ballad that remind me a little some track of R Kelly (to give an idea of the flow... )
- "Pieces" make me tough of what Lenny Kravitz was doing at the beginning of his career... It's more Rock with a little Rap on the Bridge...

(All tracks are different and it proves the talent of that guy )

- "I Promise" see the presence of Kat Higgins. I appreciate the mixture of those 2 voices and the piano parts but it's more Pop, not the track I prefer...
- "Prelude" give a new idea of Kip's voice power... Hard to discribe a fat Rock guitar but the beat is slow...
-"The Next Flight" is a pretty good mid-tempo.

The Cd finished with 2 live tracks recorded Live at Paisley Park where you'll find the help of his close friend Morris Hayes, on Keyboards (who is currently on tour with Maceo ):

- "Touchin' & Agreein'" the on I prefer... Kip Live (like a lot of artist) it's powerful in concert

- and "Don't Leave" a Pop track where you'll recognize a lot Prince's influence I think...

Great Cd not Pure Funk but anyway Great Fusion Cd : Rock, Funk, R'n'B, Soul... Kip is an amazing singer :razz:
