Hello America I need your help ! :mrgreen:

I am working with some cool guys on the subtitles of a new Blaxploitation DVD collection and we have actually some problems to do the translation of two small parts on one of our movies, if someone can help me. :wink:

Our first missing part is here, when you see this subtitle on the video = ???
Richard Burton is talking to Lola Falana = "Down here you know we work without (or with our) ???" = what does he say ?

Another question =
look at that screenshot = "E" We Care ? I don't understand the meaning of this ? It's a joke in a comedy but I don't understand what is funny here ? It's written on a police car so if someone can help me to understand ?

J'ai du mal avec la seconde car il y a du bruit au même moment... (can't quite catch what he says because of the noise that occurs at the same time)

Quant à la plaque je ne vois pas le jeu de mot non plus... (can't dig the joke on the police car... perhaps it has something to do with 'CARE' if the Police behaves agressively towards the guys in the scene, instead of 'caring for the people', it could be the other way around like 'we're taking care of the hoodlums'. Perhaps we'd need to know what's the situation at the time the license plate is shown)

A force de relire la vidéo encore et encore, j'avais trouvé de mon côté "hey broad he's a reader" mais c'est un américain qui m'a finalement donné la traduction exacte.

... And the answer for the picture = "E" stand for Exempt = it means priority car = you find this on fire engine, patrol car...
