Maybe were you attending at the concert in Jardin Botanique that was recorded on the stunnning CD/DVD Funkin' on the one?

Hey McGyver, I'm from Strépy-Bracquegnies (as FG says, it is located between Mons and La Louvière). Maybe will we get the opportunity to meet us once...???? I go to Brussels a few times a year (most of all during the "Soldes" and I visit all my "chapells" (Collector, Arlequin, Jukebox, Lost in Music, etc...) the whole day...

If you're a funky brusselar , you'll maybe know a big friend of mine called "Serafino" living in Ganshoren near the Basilique of Koeckelberg. He works for an Insurance Company called "Aon". His collection is larger than mine. And Serafino and his brother Salvatore are great ebayers (they won two very indemand items a couples of days ago: The Antilles (for 61,-$: a real good price) and LA Voyage: Allnight Affair (for 120-$ --> yes they can spend a lot of money sometimes when they really want something!!!)

Me and Jara Harris is a long time story. I have all is stuffs (released and unreleased items...) I met him several times since 2000 when he came the first time over to Europe...

I recommand you all his CD's and most of all my favourite Lp "Futurevoid" including tracks like "Slide this way" and "alldays, everyday"....

I got their last CD "The Key" today at noon!!! Pretty good, isn't it!! It's rather Heavy Funk....Moreover, a part of the tracks are co-produced with Shock G from the Digital Underground. For me, it is not a dancefloor CD but not bad at all...

This album is the most steadily played of all my 2006's buyings, even thought I previously had the former 2 Black 4 Black Radio, that shares a lot of material with The Key.

The new album is a real professional production, with a coherent project. I alwas had the feeling of having too many tracks listening to 2B4BR, that I had to "simplify" on a mp3 player, cutting out some tracks that appeared to be not relevant for a same album...

The thing is that, even thought I get a lot of interest from friends of mine coming home getting new grooves, they just cannot get the CD otherwise than second hand sellers.

It is just unavailable in another way, which is a mess for such good music, as the money should go straight to the band.
Other Slapbak's productions could be bought from CD-Baby, which is still a very good way to sell if the usual music distribution is inappropriate... Jara is not answering for selling us a bunch of 10 cd's...

Anyway I made some noise and asked 10 friends to vote and watch the video...
Yesterday they were 25 votes behind the leader...

The point is they've made a video clip.
At least. On the other hand, this unknowed band gathers less votes that any Star Academy candidate...
Slapbak has a major album ready to hit its market since monthes but The Key was never "officially" released.
Verdine White has a great name (no hits since way long though) and quite some hints on the way it goes down in showbusiness... so what the heck has he done... :roll:
