I just received it from Funk to the Max
It's a
mix of P-Funk with a Rock Energy and some Hip-Hop... It reminds me a lot Fishbone when they decided to groove
Grand Slam is a German band (I've heard about them but I wasn't knowing their music since now...)
The Cd contains 12 long jam/tracks (between 5 and 8 minutes for 7 of the tracks) + a bonus track and is 73 minutes long
I give you some comments on the tracks :

"
We Keep on Doin' the Phonk" : It's what it means, a fat Funk track with heavy guitar.

"
Gotta Go 4 What U Got" more classical Funk in is construction, with scratchs.

"U don't Ring my Bell" is more bluesy : it's not what I prefer but it's a good tune.

I ADORE "
Amusez-vous Bien" : Well done
And yes your read well it's a track with only French Lyrics (Anyway I don't understand all LOL You can consult us the next time

- I think it's a prononciation's problem

) and it grooves VERY WELL in a P-Funk Style
I think they laugh a little at french's people with the cheese's scene on the bridge

"
Win the Lottery" is very Rock/Funk/Fusion... I think some of you will love this one... I like the guitar solo... I'm near to JUMP alone on it so...

Near Slapbak style in their wildest tracks

"
We Guts to Party" a Funk/Hip Hop track with some samples and heavy bass and keyboards...

Last "
Hunk/Pop" a great jam with a slapping Bass, scrats, deep voices and a saxophone solo (One of the tracks I love the most...)
To resume, different from what I used to listen but very pleasant : there's a lot of energy and P-Funk vibes in this GOOD Cd
"The sounds of Funk Revue" is well chosen title to present what's inside
